As part of the redevelopment, the original warehouse building was to be sensitively restored with the design incorporating the addition of two floating, fully glazed office floors which will cantilever over the protected structure providing panoramic views over the River Liffey

Solution

The floating office floors complimented a double skinned glazed exterior which proved a problem for ordinary construction methods. Rockcastle manufactured sliding adjustable deck extensions which allowed the platform distance to façade be altered by operators with ease with a total of 7 machine positions in twin and single drive configurations.
